Each year, the Society relies on nearly 250 volunteers to develop and mount exhibits at the museum and in the schools, to run an antiques appraiser series, organize a house tour, serve as docents at the Museum, work with students in the Chappaqua schools, assist with clerical duties, and provide special event assistance for a total of about 5,000 hours.

Members and friends of the Society are encouraged to get involved and volunteer. We are always looking for volunteers no matter what age, background, or amount of time you have to offer. Becoming a member is a wonderful way to learn more about the Society, to meet fellow history enthusiasts, and most importantly, to contribute to the Society’s mission.
