Horace Greeley: His Life and Times

Now on display at New Castle Town Hall 

In celebration of Horace Greeley's 200th birthday, the New Castle Historical Society presents  Horace Greeley: His Life and Times.  The exhibit depicts the editor's achievements as a publisher and a politician.  The culture of the years in which he lived in Chappaqua – 1853 - 1872 – including music, literature, social activities, foods, and agriculture.
